Prismatic Stainless Steel Water Tank Solutions

Prismatic tanks (square or rectangular water tank) are special tanks designed to achieve maximum water storage volume, especially in narrow, low-ceilinged or oddly shaped areas. In angular rooms where cylindrical tanks do not fit or cause space loss, the entire area is efficiently utilized with the use of a stainless steel prismatic tank.

The stainless steel tank models we produce as Asinoks are manufactured from AISI 304 and 316 quality steel. Thanks to its high corrosion resistance and smooth inner surface, it ensures that water and liquids are stored in the healthiest way in the food, chemical, agriculture and animal husbandry sectors.

Why Choose a Prismatic (Square) Tank?

The advantages of the prismatic form in industrial and individual use are as follows:

  • Maximum Space Utilization: Thanks to its angular structure, it does not leave dead space, and stores 30% more water in the same area compared to cylindrical tanks.
  • Passage Through Narrow Doors: Thanks to its modular structure, it easily passes through building entrances and on-site assembly can be done in basements.
  • Complete Hygiene: The stainless steel water tank surface does not retain bacteria, does not grow algae, and is extremely easy to clean.

Prismatic Stainless Steel Tank Size and Capacity List

The most preferred prismatic tank sizes are listed in the table below. Special manufacturing is made according to the location of your project (Width, Length, Height).

Capacity Width Length Height Sheet Thickness
10 Ton 2000 mm 3000 mm 1700 mm Base: 3mm / Body: 2mm
15 Ton 2500 mm 3000 mm 2000 mm 2 mm
20 Ton 3000 mm 3500 mm 2000 mm 3 mm
30 Ton 3000 mm 4000 mm 2500 mm 3 mm
40 Ton 3250 mm 5000 mm 2500 mm 3 mm
50 Ton 4500 mm 5000 mm 2500 mm 3 mm
60 Ton 4000 mm 6000 mm 2500 mm 4 mm
70 Ton 4000 mm 7000 mm 2500 mm 4 mm
80 Ton 4000 mm 7000 mm 2750 mm 4 mm
90 Ton 4000 mm 7500 mm 3000 mm 4 mm

Production and Assembly Technology

Special stainless steel tie rods (bands) are used inside our prismatic tanks to increase resistance to pressure. These tie rods prevent the tank from deforming (bulging) when filled with water. The joints are made leak-proof with Argon Gas Welding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Prismatic tank or Cylindrical tank?

If your space is wide and there is no door problem, a cylindrical tank is more economical. However, if you have a narrow, low-ceilinged or angular room, a prismatic stainless steel tank is the only solution for space saving.

Do you do on-site assembly?

Yes. For tanks too large to fit through the door, we bring the parts disassembled and join them by welding in the boiler room or the area where the tank will be installed (On-Site Manufacturing).

Does a stainless steel prismatic tank leak?

No. Thanks to Argon welding and leak tests performed by our expert team, our tanks are under lifetime leak-proof guarantee.

Why is the base sheet thicker?

Since the pressure of the water is on the base, we increase the strength by making the base sheet thicker (e.g. 3mm or 4mm) than the body, especially in tanks of 10 tons and above.
